E-MAX:

E-max ev's Germany Ltd. is based outside of Munich, Germany. This enterprise was acquired in 2006 from "E-max GCC" which was established in 2003 to produce zero emission vehicles. With development and design departments located in Germany and Italy, the company’s main focus is to develop advanced technologies in order to make the daily use of electronic vehicles practical, cost-effective and comfortable for the rider. The company-owned factory, which is under German management, is located near Shanghai, China.

The vehicles are maintenance free and due to the immense torque from the 4000 watt brushless motor, the vehicle does not require a transmission. Whenever more power is required, as for a steep incline, a booster power button provides up to 80% more power for a short duration. E-max scooters offer long lasting and cost-effective 60Ah silicon batteries on a 48 volt system, which allow a range of up to 90km, (depending on rider’s weight, terrain and weather). Running costs will never exceed $1.00 per 100 kilometers.
